EMC is built around rigorous academic standards that scale from local test environments to an international, collaborative championship.

The National Round
Held concurrently across 35+ partner nations inside official local test centers. It is a paper-based evaluation designed by the international jury of the EMC.
The Global Round
The pinnacle championship. Top qualifying candidates move beyond standard tests, requiring teams to construct dynamic solutions to multi-variable challenges.
The Olympiad Roadmap — EMC 2027
A comprehensive milestone tracker for both teachers coordinating groups and students training for their moment on the world stage.
Pre-Olympiad Conference
Virtual preparation sessions, practice problem workshops, and exclusive teacher mentoring blueprints. Designed to foster confidence early.
Registration Deadline
Final date for schools and coaches to submit student rosters, select participating categories, and lock team registration data.
National Round
Concurrent paper-based exams supervised in official local school test centers across all participating country networks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Schools can register their teams directly on our web portal. An official school math coach or teacher should coordinate the profile setup, specify participation categories, and supply the student roster list. All candidates must compete under their official school representation.
EMC challenges are designed around cohesive school team units. Each registered team must consist of 3 to 4 students belonging to the same academic category. Schools are encouraged to submit multiple team blocks per category.
No. Calculators are prohibited during the National Written Round to evaluate fundamental deductive arithmetic and pure geometric calculations. However, in the Global Finals Stage, computer-aided mathematical modeling software is authorized during Team Project presentations.
